What about the Team?
Byker Lodge is a short stay residential specialist dementia resource centre. The predominant objective of the service is through goal-setting frameworks, for to maximise the daily living skills, self-confidence overall independence of people with a dementia condition to support them to continue living independently within their own home.  The service plays an integral role in supporting both Hospital Discharge and Hospital avoidance processes. 
 
What about the Role?
As a Registered Manager you will be responsible for leading the Byker Lodge team in providing the very highest standards of specialist dementia support to people to optimise their individual functioning and identity, to maximise their ability to return to their own home following discharge from the centre.  Partnerships are crucial and the Registered Manager will have the ability to develop and sustain effective working relationships with healthcare, voluntary and community sector as well as Council Assessment (Social Work) colleagues to ensure that the service is safe and of high quality.  The Registered Manager will ensure the service’s operations align with Corporate objectives and comply with legislative requirements.
